Ukulele Video Lessons - Learn how to pick on the "C" scale. As it is with any other musical instrument, it's important for the person who is playing the musical instrument to familiarize themselves with the chord scale, so that they know where the notes are and how to play them. After all, you can't play any songs on your ukulele until you know how to play the notes that are in the songs. Hope you're enjoying these ukulele video lessons!!

The first scale that we are going to learn to pick on the ukulele is the C scale. Open on the C string, second fret on the C string, open on the E string, first fret on the E string, open on the A string, second fret on the A string, third fret on the A string, fifth fret on the A string, seventh fret on the A string, the eighth fret on the A string, the tenth fret on the A string, twelfth fret on the A string, fourteenth fret on the A string, and finally fifteenth fret on the A string.

To go back down the C scale, you start on the fifteenth fret on the A string, then go down to the fourteenth fret on the A string , the twelfth fret on the A string , the tenth fret on the A string , the eighth fret on the A string, the seventh fret on the A string , the fifth fret on the A string , the third fret on the A string, the second fret on the A string , open on the A string, first fret on the E string, open on the E string, second fret on the C string and then open on the C string.

It's not hard to learn to pick the C scale on the ukulele. All you have to do is to practice and learn the way that you must place your fingers on the frets. Once you have done it a few times, you will find that its second nature and that you are doing it without problem.
