Ukulele Video Lesson
Perfect
(Ed Sheeran
)

A quality ukulele video lesson can help you learn how to play many different types of songs. It’s always nice to bring in a new tune to the repertoire, and there are some wonderful songs out there today that you might not have even realized would make great uke songs. For example. “Perfect” from Ed Sheeran, one of the most successful musicians of the modern era, sounds wonderful when played with your favorite little instrument.

Ed Sheeran is one of the modern masters of love songs, and “Perfect” is a, well, perfect example of this. The song makes use of waltz-time, and this helps to make it so catchy. It’s one of those songs that becomes easier to play once you learn the basics because of the rhythm and the relatively simple melody. It’s a very nice song to sing along to, as well.

The song was written specifically for his girlfriend Cheery Seaborn, and the lyrics are very sweet and endearing, and they show the true love that Sheeran holds for Cherry. It is a near perfect love song, and would make a wonderful wedding song. Sheeran says that he wanted to write a song that could become bigger than his other songs, particularly “Thinking Out Loud”. He also knew that this was a personal song, so rather than having others help with the task of writing, he did this one on his own.

This ukulele video lesson may be cheesy, but it's awesome!

Sheeran himself says the song is cheesy, but it is also very sweet. The style of the song also works quite well with the ukulele as the sole instrument, as you will see once you start your ukulele video lesson.

The song has also had a remix with the help of Beyoncé, which was released on November 30, 2017. This one actually had a bit of a retitle, and it was called “Perfect Duet”. When you combine Sheeran and Beyoncé, that about sums the title up perfectly. The duet proved to be quite popular, and it went to the top of the charts in the United States. Yet another version of the song was released on December 15, 2017, which featured Andrea Bocelli, and was arranged by Ed’s brother Matthew, who is a classical composer. There is even a version of the song where Sheeran sang in Italian.

While you can listen to just one of the versions of the song to get a good idea of how it sounds, it’s a good idea to listen to all of the various versions just to see how much can be done with it. This can help to inspire you and show you that it will indeed be a fantastic song when you are playing it on the ukulele.

As with all songs that you are learning, the key to getting it down is to take things slowly when you are first starting with a new piece. You want to separate it into smaller chunks, which you can master to make sure you have the style and the rhythm down before you put them all together. Overall, this is a relatively simple song to learn on the ukulele, and before long, you will be singing it while you are playing. It’s a fantastic song that is well worth adding to any repertoire. The best way to learn the song is by using a ukulele video lesson. You can both hear and see how the song is played, and you can watch as many times as needed until you learn.
