Ukulele Video Lesson -
Im The One (DJ Khaled)

A ukulele video lesson makes learning how to play “I’m the One” by DJ Khaled nice and easy. This is a relatively new song, but it has become quite popular since it was released. It features DJ Khaled, as well as a host of other artists, which help to give it even more appeal. The other artists on the song include Chance the Rapper, Quavo, Lil Wayne, and Justin Bieber.

If you have not yet heard it – which would be an amazing feat given how popular the song is right now – go and listen now. When the music starts up, you can see why this would be a good option to become a ukulele song. It has the beat and feel that you know would sound great when translated to the ukulele.

Hip Hop Artists Galore!

In the song, Bieber takes care of the chorus/hook, while Chance the Rapper, Quavo, and Lil Wayne all have verses of their own. The song is very catchy, and you will find that the lyrics tend to follow the same theme through the song. The singers are telling women in their life that they are the only ones for those women. It is essentially a song about bragging, but that’s fine. It’s still quite catchy, and it really does sound quite good when it is played on the ukulele, as you will see once you check out the ukulele video lesson.

Here's some background on this ukulele video lesson...

DJ Khaled produced the song along with Nic Nac, and it was a hit immediately. It debuted at the top spot on the Hot 100. This was the first time that DJ Khaled or Chance the Rapper had a single reach the top of the charts, so it has certainly proved to be a good song for them. Since Bieber was part of the song, this meant he was the first male artist to debut at #1 twice.

Do you think this would be a good song to add to your repertoire? You want to have songs that are popular and that are fun to play, and this certainly fits the bill. Since there are so many artists rapping and singing on the album, it might seem a bit intimidating at first, but it doesn’t have to be. Singing might be easy for you, but you may feel you will have trouble with the rapping part. Perhaps you are the opposite and feel that you could do the rapping, but not the singing parts.

Of course, the first thing you need to do is concentrate on learning how to play the song. You should do this piecemeal, just as you would when learning other songs. Make sure you know the chords and the strumming pattern that needs to be used, and then start in on the song. For some, it might be easier to start “I’m the One” by learning the hook/chorus. You can then branch out into the rapping verses, and you may find this easier.

Regardless of which you choose to learn first, you will find that using a ukulele video lesson is simply the best way to do it. You can re-watch the videos to get a better idea of how to play each part. Go as slow as you need to learn the parts, and then you can put it all together. Also, if you do not feel comfortable rapping, you could always pair up with one or more people who can handle the vocal duties for you.
