The Cowboy Song

I taught myself The Cowboy Song from the movie Joe Versus The Volcano. This is after my Hello Kitty fetish enticed me into buying a Hello Kitty Ukulele from the Sanrio Store at Ala Moana Center. This series is limited edition. Only 100 of them were made at Lilang's Guitar Factory in Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines. I have # 46. I never intended on playing that ukulele as I was intending on keeping it pristine to resell one day. Well, she (my Hello Kitty uke) wouldn't have any part of that! Shortly after I bought her I learned how to tune. It took several days to get the strings stretched so it held the tune. I strummed for days before I committed myself to actually learning a song. I chose The Cowboy Song because I have a connection to that movie with a special sweetie who happens to look like Tom Hanks. Much to my relief, I found out that it only has 2 chords, F and C. Those are the chords Tom Hanks uses in the movie. It can also be played with G and D7.
