Sunset- Marques Houston

The first song I learned was Sunset. I went on to ukulele tabs and got the chords myself, and then I went on a youtube video to figure out the strumming pattern. It was hard at first because i had trouble transitioning my fingers and figuring out the strum, and also I couldn't chunk so the way I played the song sounded weird compared to others because it had no chunks in it. I was fusterated at first but eventually I was patient and I practiced alot and I finally perfected it. Yes I would recommend this to beginners who are just learning to play the uke because it's an easy but entertaining song that everyone knows. The song is slow so it makes it easier for begginners to catch on and play it. |
