I had a Kamaka 6-string that I thought would be the last uke I ever would need to buy, but then I met Gordon and Char Mayer who make ukuleles in White Salmon, WA, just across the Columbia river from Hood River, OR. A lot of manufacturers visit ukulele festivals and I tried a lot of them before trying a Mya Moe tenor. When they started making 6-string tenors, I got in line to buy one. Mine is chocolate heart mango. It's very warm and full sounding, and the playability is the best of any uke I've tried since. I really enjoyed my Kamaka but was happy to get a good price for it to put towards my Mya Moe.
