My first was a Hilo, then a Lanikai and finally a handmade Concert Uke from Portugal

by mark
(Portland Maine)

It was my 45th birthday and I was looking to do something fun on my b'day. On my way to lunch I had a crazy notion to stop in Buckdancer's Choice in Portland Maine. That's where I saw the ukes. I was intrigued. This looked fun and doable. (My guitar teacher bailed on me I was soooo bad) So I picked up a Lanikai tenor uke and a learn to play book. I've been hooked ever since. I don't play well. I just strum and sing along. Yay for Ukes!!
