KoAloha Super Concert Ukulele
While living in Honolulu, I went to the swap and bought my first ukulele. It was an inexpensive (about $125) ukulele & case. It was a no name laminate beginners model. I fell in love with the instrument. So I went on the search for a better instrument. I know a little about good quality solid wood instruments as I have been playing the guitar for about 35 years. I searched ebay & found musicguymic. After many emails, I decided to go with the KoAloha Super Concert. I only have the cheapie I used to have for comparison, but there is no comparison. The KoAloha's tone is superb. The intonation is perfect so I can play chords above the 12th fret and they stay in tune. I can't imagine a better instrument, but I am on the hunt for something better. I am hooked on the ukulele and don't mind spending a couple thousand dollars for something even more amazing than the KoAloha.
