When I was a kid, I was crazy for a guitar or ukulele. I finally got an old guitar and learned to play badly. When I retired I bought a few 'entry level' ukuleles. Then, I wanted something better and I bought a tenor Kala. It just feels like a quality instrument and not prohibitably expensive. So, now I also have a concert Kala. Both bought off eBay from Musicguymic. Very pleasant transactions and well set up with Aquila strings, which are my favorites. I have a cheap baritone uke that I have had a lot of fun with. So my next project is to get an amplified Kala baritone from Musicguymic. I am 74 years old and entertain at local Senior Centers. Finally realizing my dream to be an entertainer.
