Kala KA-TE/C

I have played guitar for years and have owned some nice ones. I switched to uke about six months ago and this is my second uke. I like the intonation of this uke but the quality of the sound from it leads a bit to be desired as it is hollow and does not resonate because it is not a solid top. Also the Shadow pickup is substandard and picks up a dull thump from even the softest plectrum. All said it is an adequate uke for practice but overpriced and I am not happy with it.
