Flea and an Ohana and soon a Kala

My first ukulele was $40 @ Guitar Center. It was nice, don't even remember the brand...I accidentally sat on it.

I purchased a Stagg ukulele on Ebay for about $40.00. I was cool with a Rainforest Frog painted on it. The ukulele didn't have the best sound, even when we changed the strings to Aquila.

I bought the Flea with the Tiki King design on Ebay from Da Music Guy Mike. It is fabulous!! It is probably about a $250.00 to $300.00 uku, but he has the best prices around.

We went to a Ukulele festival in California and Music Guy Mike was there! He is the best, friendly and very informative. We purchased an Ohana CK-650 from him and he kicked in a free hard case! It is a beautiful instrument and sounds fantastic. Again a $300 plus ukulele purchased for much less!! It was a steal!

Currently waiting for a Kala F-hole Archtop, again for way under retail suggested price. I think it was about $300 something retail. Again he kicked in a free hardcase (his shipping is free also).

Anyway, those are the ones we have tried. The one I sat on was great for a beginner so if you want to start and go to Guitar Center, it is usualy the only uke they have, or at least the only budget priced uke.
