I have a Martin Baritone Ukulele that my grandfather had custom made at some point in the 70's. It's beautiful and has great tone. I recently took it out of its case for the first time in ages, as a friend of mine has taken up the uke and wanted some pointers (I started out on the ukulele when I was 11, but switched to guitar shortly thereafter - still got my chops, though!) It's a wonderful instrument and family heirloom.
